Blog articles — writing for your website

Write an article for your company's website once, keep it as a draft or schedule it, and use it as the source for your social posts.

Articles live on Marketing → Articles. An article is written once and becomes the source for your website's blog and for the posts you share on social media.

Write an article

  1. Press New article.
  2. Give it a Title — an article cannot be saved without one.
  3. Write the Text. The toolbar adds headings, bold and italic text, bulleted and numbered lists, quotes and links.
  4. Add an Excerpt: a sentence or two shown in the blog list and when the article is shared.
  5. Under Cover, press Upload cover and pick a photo. A wide photo works best. Location data and other hidden details are removed from the photo automatically.
  6. Press Save. A new article is saved as a Draft.

Schedule it

Pick a Publish date and a Publish time and press Save — the article becomes Scheduled. The time is your company's time zone. Press Clear schedule and save to turn it back into a draft. A new time in the past cannot be picked. An article whose time has already passed can still be edited and saved as is.

Search and sharing

  • Slug — the last part of the article's address on your site. It is filled in from the title; you can change it. Two articles of your company never share a slug.
  • Tags — separate them with commas.
  • SEO title and SEO description — what search engines show. Left empty, the title and the excerpt are used.

Who can do what

Everyone with access to Social can read articles. Creating, editing and deleting each need their own permission — someone who can only view sees the article without a Save button, and uploading a cover needs the create permission. Deleting an article keeps the posts already made from it.
